The Miss Spirit of Patriotism Scholarship Pageant is celebrating it's 28th year in 2005. Throughout the years, the pageant has benefited several charities in South Georgia. For the past two years, the proceeds have helped grant three wishes for The Make a Wish Foundation in Georgia. This year, our goal is to raise enough funds to grant two wishes, making the total to FIVE WISHES!!

 

All proceeds to the Miss Spirit of Patriotism Scholarship Pageant are tax deductible.

 

Besides the division titles, we also award one OVERALL Miss Hospitality winner and three runners up for those who raise money above and beyond the entry fee. The winner will receive a 4 foot trophy, custom banner, large round crown, a Wild Adventure Season Pass, and a Goody Bag. All runners up will receive a trophy and goody bag.

 

All division winners will receive a cash award, 8x10 picture courtesy of Melyssa Waites Photography, One Month Modeling Scholarship to Amanda's Models and Talent, Gift Certificate to Pirates Bluff Restaurant, custom embroidered banner, crown pin, large trophy, full round crown, and a goody bag. All runners up will receive a trophy. Optional winners will receive a trophy. The Miss Spirit of Patriotism Scholarship winner will receive $500.00 cash at the end of her reign.

 

Each year, the contestants learn an opening number at rehearsal. As always, our theme surrounds DISNEY WORLD!

 

40% of all wishes granted by The Make a Wish Foundation are to Walt Disney World.
